At present, Mantaba has only one small primary school with two classrooms. This school must serve all six levels of primary education (the equivalent of Grades/ Years 1-6), with only one teacher for the entire student body. Children of different ages often learn side by side in overcrowded conditions, making it difficult for them to receive the individual attention they need.
Mantaba Hope Foundation is committed to addressing these challenges by:
Extending the school to add more classrooms, so that each year-group can learn in a space suited to their age and level.
Improving the teacher-to-student ratio to reduce overcrowding and improve learning outcomes.
Equipping teachers with training and resources to strengthen the quality of education.
By creating better learning conditions and supporting those who teach, we believe we can give every child in Mantaba the opportunity to grow, learn, and flourish.

We also recognise the importance of adult education and literacy programs, which will provide parents and other community members with practical skills, reading and writing ability, and tools to support their children's schooling.
